The resort ranges from the older and a bit tired part of town, I guess popular in the big drinking, cheap sun holidays of a few years ago. You can see it is trying to upgrade itself. There are so many bars and eating places you are spoilt for choice, from cheap and cheerful to very upmarket , as you walk on to Fanabe you start getting to the better part of the Costa Adeje. The hotels have better placement and surroundings actually look over the ocean and quieter surroundings more upmarket shops and restaurants , if you follow the coastal footpath it a pleasant walk at any time more so as the sun goes down.

so my choice would be go 1000 meters out of town for a better position and you can have a nice stroll into the busy club area if you want to. Perhaps I am getting old.
Found a great company for scuba diving , I would highly recommend them Blue Bottom Diving, there boat is in the harbour no bus drive to elsewhere ,really professional do everything to make it easy for you, good prep and guide always alert to what is happening on the dives, mind the conditions weren’t great but it is not the Red Sea so you need to look and you will find, rays in abundance Angel shark, some great nudibranch, but 19 degrees little cool in my 5 MM. wet suit, depths 22 —25 mts as always I like my 15 lt tank plenty of air, my thanks to the people there, but can you change the biscuits next time.
