we found this,

it is a long way from the one,s we had seen in Egypt!

We managed to obtain the return tickets, so I did not have to walk home.

We walk to the cruise boat meandering past the old man of Threadneedle Street then made our way through Temple to the embankment , bit of a chilly day so enjoyed the walk.

 

we had a lovely trip up the river whilst enjoying the meal and the views, we have half  day left so we are going to the Shard just for the view.

we strolled along the south bank to the Shard, passing the Globe and a few shops of course , lots of people around still.

We have got there

i think this is the 32nd floor ( the free bit ) well you got to have a drink haven’t you, not cheap! Looked at menu , very nice but fortunately we didn’t have time to eat, well that’s my excuse. Great views even with the mist outside

needed the little boys room , phew what a room!

When we left to return to Liverpool Street station took a wrong turn and visited Bermonsey , just to visit my dads old lock up, under the railway arches. Made us a bit rushed to the station.
